MILLS Community Services, LLC provides In-Home Support services to help our clients live as independently as possible in their own home environment.
We provide hands-on, independent living skills training in the comfort of the individual’s own home. We work closely with clients in a fun, nurturing environment that reinforces independent living goals while improving current skills and introducing new skills.
Our caring, compassionate staff closely supervises and instructs clients with daily life skills training in the following areas:
*Hours of services are determined by the specialized needs of clients and their families/caregivers.
For primary caregivers and family members, we offer respite care services in order to give caregivers a temporary break from their daily duties.
Minor Home Modifications
Home modifications help individuals become more independent and self-reliant while making their living environment more accessible, safe and secure. We can help with minor home modifications ranging from wheelchair accessible ramps to shower grab bars, etc.
Adaptive Aids
Adaptive aids make daily living easier for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They also help improve and control the home environment while improving quality of life. Adaptive aids range from mobility lifts to emergency/safety technology to communication devices.
